Wiltshire House Adults Only Stylish Escape

Wiltshire House was built in 1880 and is situated in a a pominent  location backing onto the historic terminus of the central goldfields railway (www.VGR.com.au). Steam trains continueto  run between Maldon and Castlemaine twice weekly.

The house is only a short stroll to Maldon's village centre. 

The house includes of a stylish country kitchen with french doors leading onto an alfresco dining area and a comfortable sun drenched sitting- room with a well stocked bookcase that also has french doors leading onto a paved area shaded by grapevines. 

An elegant dining -room furnished in beautiful french furniture and decorated with a number of floral paintings. 

There are three Bedrooms. One has  a queen size bed, another has double bed and the third has  two king size singles.  All are furnished with French  or English antique furniture and are made up with crisp, cosy bedlinen. 

There are two modern fully tiled bathrooms and a modern laundry with irioning facilities. 

The house is fully airconditioned/ heated for year long comfort. 

A cottage garden surrounds  the house with perfumed  roses, annuals and perenials. 

In spring time a collection of blossom trees, daffodils and tulips can be enjoyed. 

Two magnificent lemon scented gums spotlit at night  stand guard at the back gate which leads to Maldon Railway Staton. 

The outside toilet is of interest as it is lined with original local newspapers from the 1860's. 

Wiltshire House can be an elegant oasis to escape to in a hectic world.
