Sinnamon's Cottage

A delightful country cottage, very comfortable, splendid garden and only a short walk for the charming village of Maldon with more than it’s fair share of really good cafes. Market day is especially worth being there for. All in all, highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful cottage . we come over and over again the gardens are beautiful with veggie garden fruit trees and the lovely ladies thats the chickens who always lay for breakfast . Jamie is wonderful he has heating on in cooler months and cooling on in warmer month flowers everywhere inside music on what a lovely welcome . the cottage is clean and has all the modern cons but in an old world cottage , we always feel so welcome and comfortable a home away from home we will keep coming back its my favourite place . thankyou sooo much Jamie

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, unique cottage! We felt as though we were worlds away from everywhere, yet we were within easy walking distance to the shops and eateries. We were greeted by a stunning display of autumn leaves on the trees at the front of the cottage, and enjoyed sitting on the veranda overlooking the beautiful garden. The terraced gardens at the back of the cottage were equally beautiful, with places to sit and enjoy the solitude, broken only by the gentle clucking of the happy chooks who provided fresh eggs for breakfast! A wine by the fire at night ( easy to light and plenty of wood supplied) was a very relaxing way to finish off a day of exploring historic Maldon. Comfortable beds, great shower and spa, well equipped and very clean, this lovely cottage with its olde world atmosphere is a wonderful place to stay. Jamie, the owner, is very thoughtful and contacted us to ensure we had arrived safely, settled in and had everything we needed. We traveled as two sisters having a weekend away, but this gorgeous cottage would appeal to everyone!!

This was our 2nd stay at the cottage . It is such a cozy very comfy cottage with all that you need and more.Nothing better than watching the fire on a cold wet winters day with a glass of wine.The fresh eggs and lemons are a added bonus . The shops are very close with the maldon hotel serving great meals at great prices and friendly . We love staying at the cottage and we will be back .

This is my 3rd visit to Sinnamons Cottage and I will be back again. The love, thought and attention to detail to the cottage and garden creates a fabulous relaxing haven. Fresh eggs and fresh produce are a welcome delight The cottage is close to the cafes and pubs.

From the moment we walked thru the front door it felt liked home. Jamie our host, had put some memorable finishing touches (think fresh flowers in vases, fresh eggs in fridge, earthern ware water filter topped up) to what is an already well thought out, well presented bnb. A cosy & comfortable period cottage conveniently located near the town centre. Maldon has some great places to eat or if u decide to stay in doors & light the fire the local supermarket has all the essentials. We stayed 2 nights but could've stayed 4. One of the best places my wife & I hav stayed.

Lovely stay for our wedding anniversary. Relaxing and romantic. Everything about the cottage is great from the large CD collection , wood heater, stacks of magazines large kitchen and spa. The house is well heated and it has an amazing garden which look lovely so many Daphne’s ❤️❤️ We really enjoyed fresh eggs from the barn for Breakie. Look forward to returning to use the garden setting next time. Thank you Jamie

We had a great stay at Sinnamon’s Cottage. Beautiful old cottage with all facilities. Lovely garden and set in a great location close to town. Will recommend to friends without hesitation. And the chooks supplied us with breakfast each morning. We will be back.
