We absolutely loved our weekend getaway to Maldon. Our children loved Smith's Cottage and instantly made themselves at home. Jamie was very helpful with local advice on best place for coffee and recommendations for children activities. The Maldon market was a definite highlight and the impromptu tour of the fire truck when the firies noticed an inquisitive 3yo. Great memories were made.

Winter Weekend

We had a lovely stay at Smiths Cottage. It had everything we could have wanted for a winters weekend away. We enjoyed the character of the cottage and learnt about how it was built. The fire was particularly cosy! Maldon is a lovely year round destination with so much to do. Thanks for a memorable stay.

We adore Maldon, our stays are always a joyous combination of great food and music , warm, inviting surrounds and gorgeous cottages; lovingly restored, beautifully furnished and decorated with a practicality and authenticity to their environs. Smith's Cottage combines a very convenient position with a whimsical and private garden oasis to enjoy sharing time with friends or or something more solitary. Great for couples visiting together! All 'modern' niceties with abundant character and warmth no motel room possesses. Park the car and settle back in time @Maldongetaways!
