All are lucky to boast a lovely wood burning fire, just

perfect to cosying-up in front of on those cold winter nights. Maldon
Getaways has allocated sufficient firewood for the duration of your stay and
we have placed this firewood, along with paper, kindling, fire-starters and
matches in baskets adjacent to your fire and just outside the closest point
of entry. We ask that you use this firewood wisely as demand is
outstripping supply across the state and costs are skyrocketing accordingly.
Should you run out however, we are happy to provide you with additional
firewood according to your needs, but please note, this will be an
additional costs based on the amount you order. Please don't hesitate to
contact me for the cost of additional firewood.

With our summers becoming hotter and longer, we are regularly finding
ourselves under either a North Central Region Total Fire Ban or in some
circumstances a State-Wide Total Fire Ban. With this in mind, we have
instigated a policy that wood-fire heating is only permitted between April 1
- October 31.

Even without the fire - both in summer and winter - there are alternative
heating options in your property for your use as you require. We thank you
for your understanding with what has become an issue of concern for all of
us in our rural town.

With kind regards,
Jamie Heffernan
